Save our apprentice programs - (7/30/2019)
Don't let the ABC and other organizations undermine the industry standard for apprenticeships that we have created across the country. This is very important that our voices are heard in Washington to keep our programs at the forefront of knowledge and skill set. If our voices aren't heard it will allow companies to create watered down classes in lieu of a registered apprenticeship program and continue to drive down wages and standards of all industries. The new program is called IRAP- Industry Recognized Apprenticeship Program whereas it would put it in the hands of a third party to oversee the programs and not the Department of Labor. It takes less than 3 minutes of your time and the impact of this could last a lifetime.
